Day 3

My third day was once again filled with many informative and interesting meetings. I started the day off taking park in a walk through for the presentation the agency will be pitching to a potential client in the near future. Just as with every potential client, Integer had to go through a grueling process of elimination and is now one of two agencies left in the bid for the new client. In order to completely win over the client, the agency has set up an entire presentation for the client. This morning many of the employees practiced exactly what will happen in the presentation. The presentation begins with breakfast where they will greet the client and get to know her on a personal basis. After breakfast the client is walked through the entire office with many different pit stops along the way. On each of the many pit stops they will make throughout the office, one of the employees will explain a certain aspect of why Integer is the right choice for her company. It was really cool to see different employees from the many different branches of Integer all come together for one presentation. After the walk through in the morning I had the rare opportunity to go out to lunch with the president of Integer Dallas. During lunch the President told me how she got into the advertising business and how much she loved her job. She said that getting into the advertising business was the best choice she has ever made. She also explained why Integer is so different from many other agencies. She explained how she feels like the agency, rather than just being a bunch of employees, is more like a giant family. Although there are many times they will have to stay overnight to work, it isn't as bad because she said they are all in it together. I love that everyone is so close to each other and rather than being just a work partner, it is more like a bunch of friends working together. After work I met with a couple of the digital people who worked on the amazing Slurpee website. They explained how much work putting a website up actually is. It isn't just putting in a bunch of code and launching it into the internet. It takes a ton more time and organization. However, the final product they came up with for Slurpee is one of the coolest websites I have ever seen. Today was once again extremely fun. I feel like everyday I am at the agency I am surprised with something new. I am sad to admit that i will not be going into the office tomorrow. However, I will be back on friday and I can not wait!
